    Hi

In order to convert DVD to VCD I use the following programs :

    TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6
    VirtualDub 1.5.3
    TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress

And my workflow is like this :

    1. I extract the mpeg out of the DVD to my HD using TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6
    2. .with VirtualDub I take the audio from the movie and save as wav file. i do it because the audio is 48Khz and TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress wont except it.
    with TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress
    3. I convert the mpeg2 to VCD compliant file.

Now two things, this is long workflow…I just wondering if there is a way to make some shortcuts? And…using this workflow the audio in the VCD is very low….where I can boost it up?

    Thanks
    S
