Boys breaking up with girls...girls devistated, crying all the time...suicide watch (seriously)
Girls stealing other girl's boyfriends...always...every ******* day
Girls who get beat up by their brothers
Boys busted for distribution, stealing cars
Boys who are 16, **** strong and think they can whoop the world, who try to challenge every authority they can find to prove their toughness...these little fuckers everyday I fuckin hate it...little do they know if I were only 17 or if they were 18 and in a different setting I would bounce their ******* head off the ******* sidewalk like a ******* basketball...everytime a kid looks at me and says "what nigga " just boils my blood. Because they are basically saying "WTF are you looking at?" which in 1990 would have brought Northcat to fighting anger instantly. I should mention that this comment made by both black and white kids...

Kids in general -
Divorce...dealing with it...the kids are always split and feel torn
Fitting in to a social group
trying to grow up
apathetic attitudes
feeling like they are owed something
all kinds of future rappers..who love to audition
kids with mothers cheating on father with another woman, and fathers cheating on wives with other men that's no bullshit...I have 4 kids in my classes that have 2 mothers and no father. And 3 kids who's father all of a sudden turned gay while still married to their mother those are some selfish fucked up people who I think should be used as shark bait.

Now it's not bad enough that the kids of those parents have to deal with that whole circumstance, but other kids find out about it and then the other kids make fun them over it...

It's a whole different world. Sad really.

and I know you jokingly question "intellectual" however, during a math conversation yesterday, I made up this story about a certain set of circumstances, etc <you know how us math teachers do> we were talking about the acceleration of gravity and I said something about the Empire State building...a girl in my class <as serious as can be> says: "Where is the Empire State Building? There ain't no state named "Empire" is there?"...so yea Bug...as sad as it may seem, I do mean "intellectual"

Actually, my wife is a teacher, 11-18 year olds at all levels of ability, so though I may have little 1st hand experience of this age group (except one 13 yr old son), I get plenty of 2nd hand experience and pretty much know where you are coming from with the 'intellectual' thing
