can anyone suggest a free ware to convert VOB files to WMV OR AVI. i just want to burn on CD-R.
i tried couple of things like VOB2MPG. But not able to burn the converted file. it says
Due to patent restrictions, Dolby digital 2-channel decoding is not available. this feature can be added by installing the DVD-Video Plug-in, the NERO 6 ultra edition package or the web version.
i upgraded my nero to the latest available version on the web but still..
also tried imTOO DVD ripper. but its not freeware.
please suggest a freeware.
thanks

Virtualdub-mpeg2 can open your vob files (as long as they are not copy protected on the DVD). You can save to divx or xvid or any other codecs you have installed.
