I can't get WinTV Go to work right with XP. It's installed properly, all the drivers (Microsoft approved) are there. But, when I try to capture (using vidcap or VirtualDub among others) I get a message that says "Video device already in use". I'm not running anything else on the computer.
According to Hauppauge's web site, WinTV Go is fully compatible with XP. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling all drivers and software.
Does anyone have an idea what's going on here? Thanks.

Just thought I would let you know that I had similar problems with my Win XP. Everytime I started to capture, the sound would just mute itself. As soon as I stopped capturing the sound would come right back. I downloaded the new driver off their website but it didnt help. Im just going to use my old computer with Win 98 to do my VCD's.
