is there any cure for this in a hd, the drive is not ticking, and it sometimes shows up in the comp mgmt console, im wondering maybe i should put this drive in the freezer for a while or something...some body anybody please..help

If a drive gives you a hint of failure, back-up useful stuff and throw it away, or better, give it as a gift to a beloved enemy of yours :P .
