  1. I have two vcr's already, but I need one with s-video out on it to make a $#itload of vcds from vhs tapes. Im only going to use it to make vcds, so I don't want to spend a lot on it..Any suggestions for a vcr with s-video out less than $150? TIA

I have a good VCR with S-video out and in but have not yet seen the difference between composite and svideo out they both look the same using standard cables im trying to get a better quality svideo cable connected but the plug is not connecting to my svideo port on my capture card but the other end connects to my vcr.

My vcr is a Philips VR1070 but i don't know how much it is where you live or do i know how good it is compared to other svideo vcr's.

  3. Spend another $50 for the JVC with DNR & TBC. They'll clean up the signal a little, which will help your MPEG encoder a lot.
