Hi,
I downloaded an instructional video file in the form of an .avi
I am unable to get it to play the video stream, the audio comes through fine. WMP9 says it's looking for the codec but is unable to find it. I downloaded a whole series of codec but to no avail.
Any thoughts as to how I can get this file to play.
I have searched and found this, not sure if this is my problem.

Uninstall all codecs and then only install the latest versions of the ones that gspot says your file has.
