    Hello,

So how many here can admit they have it????

I have it a little.... Ok a lot!

I mean I've been trying to force myself to pull away because I do have some work I need to get done. But you just fire up the pc, log on, and boom - an hour has disappeared before you even realize it.

    Scary isn't it?????

yep, time does fly by fast as the hours just disappear . I can't help myself sometimes as I have my TFT monitor on a coffee table in front of me while in the sitting room

this means everytime I get an email or IM, it's just like answering a phone as all I do is fire up the monitor and pick up the keyboard/mouse. With this setup I can still watch TV or do most other things while at the PC. It's a great setup for convenience but a bad idea if you need a break from the PC

if nothing is happening I can just turn off the monitor, even put it under the table and do whatever you normally would in the sitting room. This happens rarely though as it's very rare I don't get an email or IM from someone

what's the future going to be like for kids?. I'm glad I experienced the great outdoors as a kid as I doubt I would have done half of the things if I had a PC at home

I am addicted...very addicted. A few weeks ago it was late at night and I was on Xbox live when the cable went out which meant Roadrunner was out too. I felt completely detached from the world when this happened. Scary. I don't know what I would do without cable or the internet.

I use the internet for my banking, stocks, bill-paying, purchasing, etc. I'm completely dependent on it and panic when it goes down.

I am on the Internet addict, a DVD addict and on computers generally as I am hooked on to them.

Yesterday as a quiet Sunday, I want the Internet just for a 5 hour session and I ended up on it for 15 hours to 10.13 pm last night.

No TV, no music and a couple or three forums to discuss all day and I love it.

The whole day from breakfast to bed time gone so quickly and nothing is done except to feed and drink myself.

I did have time to attend to my cat for food and drink though.

At one time yesterday, the cat purrs around my legs while me on the PC as the cat wanting me to go upstairs for her food and drink.

She wants me up there even though there was plenty to eat and drink for the cat.

She's is a funny cat and a very affectionate one.

Anyway, I got the PC keyboard cleaned up of dirt, grime and dust before I got to bed last night too.

It does look much better today as I am very pleased . 8)

I'm not an internet addict so much as I'm a computer addict. I was a junkie long before internet access was widely available. I work on them 8+ hours a day and then I come home and work on my own.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.

I wouldn't say "addicted" matter of fact, I'm rarely on the internet from home anymore.

But when I am on, I am either here or pinkpornstars.com

My first PC had no hard drive, two 360K floppies and 256K of RAM. This was before the internet exited; and before anyone chimes in, this was before the military existed as well.
