I've been dealing with this for quite a while but it's not really killing my system. I have this motherboard.

    http://us-download.msi.com.tw/support/mnu_exe/mbd_mnu/E6565v2.0.exe

with an 8x AGP slot and this video card

    http://www.ati.com/products/radeon9000/radeon9000pro/specs.html

which supports AGP 8x, but I've NEVER gotten it to run at 8x.

    Any ideas?

    TIA

  2. Comprehensive 2X and 4X AGP support. ----->It is compatible with AGP 8X universal motherboards.

As I looked more today, I was starting to suspect that, but I wanted to be sure. Thanks.

  5. That was my main thing I looked for in a motherboard when I upgraded my daughters computer, AGP 8X.
