    Just curious.
If penicillin is all it takes, most would do it all over again. Valtrex is another story.
Oh yeah. The gift that keeps on giving.

IMO, if you've loved and lost, you've experienced towering highs and cowering lows, and have the memories to comfort you, whereas if not at all, you haven't experienced all of the trials and tribulations that form a relationship, and quite possibly are still pining for Mr or Miss Right to come along.
    If in doubt, Google it.

We define our pleasure through pain. Although loving and losing is probably the greatest pain one can ever experience, never having loved is pain as well. The difference is that something is gained by having loved.

It's better to have loved and lost.
But you don't choose love, it chooses you. You have no control over that.

What you do have control over is your reactions to it and how you handle yourself. A person is still accountable for their own actions and anyone who says "love made me do it" is full of utter horseshit. That's my opinion anyway.

In most cases when people do something bad and they say 'love made me do it,' they're probably full of shit, BUT I'd have to say that if it doesn't at least partially dictate your choices and your actions, it's not really love. Love will make you do things you wouldn't otherwise.

Yes, love can inspire you to do things you wouldn't normally do, but you still have the choice of whether to do them or not. And you still have to take accountability for them. If you are willing to, then there's no problem.

  9. What the hell. When in Rome ...

    [puss]

Yes, I believe in true love. I have found my true love and thank God every day that I was fortunate enough to make her my wife. I cannot imagine any other impacting my life in the way that she has impacted mine. She has made me a better man than I ever thought I could be.

I fall more deeply in love with her with every passing day. Not a day goes by without me telling her I love you least 10 times a day. We slow dance to no music for no good reason other than we like to -- at home; at the grocery store; wherever the mood strikes us. I still hold her hand whenever we walk together.

I don't know if true love exists for everyone -- I sure hope it does. I can only tell you it exists for me.

BTW -- Our married friends hate our guts because we are so happy and in love.

This is the part where he PMs you for your phone number. I already gave him mine and now I'm regretting it.

I suspect that the "900" number you gave me is NOT really your number.

I say that all the time when people see my wife

They always say something like "how in the hell did you get her?" and I always reply, "well, she obviously didn't marry me for my looks, and she obviously didn't marry me for my money, so......."

[ripper]For most people, true love is if she swallows[/ripper]

Anyway, for me true love is when I get home from work and I get out of my car and spot my cat in the window looking at me. Then when I go inside he's waiting for me at the door. He's getting tuna tonight.

doing the Direct TV route huh?

I use to have Direct TV, then I switched to Dishnetwork. I like it much better and it's cheaper. The only thing I don't like is the network stations. With Dishnetwork I get our area's local stations and that's it. With DirectTV we got network stations from both the east and west coast...which was nice for college football, basketball, pro football, Simpsons (because Fox west would show 2 back to back twice every night).
