  1. I have burned a few VCDs. My DVD player plays the video without any problems, but the audio has a very bad crackle. I've have tried ripping the audio track before converting the file to mpg, but this didn't help. It could be a hardware or a media problem. Has anybody had similar situation?

  2. are you use in TMPGEnc to encode to Mpeg if sooo try to use tooLAME you can download it at http://www.Flexion.org ...you can make it has a external tool just go to OPTION->Enviormental Settings->External Tool and click Layer 2 and browse for tooLame.exe ..TMPGEnc own audio encoder sukks soo use tooLame to encode the audio with TMPGenc

  3. Thanks. I tracked the sound to a hardware problem, but once I fixed it, I noticed that the VCDs encoded with tooLAME sounded much better than the old ones.
