videoReDo Freezing

Let me start by saying I am capturing Mpeg2 with a new capture device. But after capturing I try to put the new captured file into VideoReDo to edit and it won't load. It just freezes! No error message, nothing. And if I go to task manager to close it my explorer.exe takes all of my process power and I end up having to reboot to get it stable again. Has anyone experienced this with this program? I heard nothing but great things about this program but so far it isn't as good as people say.

I've never seen exactly that problem... However there maybe a problem with the file itself.

So start VideoReDo, Do Not Load any video. Then go to Tools and choose Quickstream Fix and run it through that.

If still a problem visit the videoredo forums and leave a message for DanR (one of the Mods) at http://www.videoredo.net/msgBoard/index.php in the support forum. Are you running the reales version or the Beta 320 version.. Give all the info. He may want a sample clip from the file too, he'll ask if needed.
