    Hi,
    I just installed Vidomi and tried to convert an MPEG2 file to DIVX.
    Seconds into the conversion, Vidomi issues an error message:
    "Vidomi encoder failed to initialize properly".

    I have been unable to find any information on this error. The Vidomi website forum is currently down.

    Does anyone know how to resolve this error?

    I suffered this problem with Vidomi but I failed to resolve it properly. One thing that I think worked once was to reinstall the entire system, but it soon got up to the old tricks again.

    I know it isn't really much of a help, but would you like to try AutoGK? It is about as easy as Vidomi but a lot more robust.
