  1. I've just aquired a HD movie (16x9 - 1920x1080) There are 3 discs each one the size of one DVD. The file extension is .ts. I was wondering how to burn these images?

Why not save the trouble and acquire it in 480p?

    .TS stands for transport stream
What you have there is an usually an 80MEGABIT per second stream
    (8xthe highest DVD bit rate)

What you need to do is buid a DIRECT SHOW FILTER to either view such fare or re-render it across to another format. For now, tho' why not just clone the disc s until you understand more about hi-def streams (I don't) I'd advise you to look into the AVC THEATRE website

do you want to convert it to dvd or just burn it? or???

    digital tv tools,
    https://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=32#32

Many encoders can convert to dvd if you have a mpeg2 decoder installed like Nerovision express, tmpgenc plus, tmpgenc express. Or use hdtvtompeg2 and convert to a mpg that may be easier to convert.

  8. Also the Beta versions of VideoReDo can open .ts files and save them as mpeg files. I use it to convert/edit

    Cheers
