  1. Im having an annoying problem with PowerDVD which I hope is operator error. I store alot of my movies on my hd and watch them from there. I am using PowerDVD and I open the folder as a file to watch the movie, however I cannot seem to turn off any of the subtitles. Every movie seems to play with subtitles and regardless of how many times I go to the main menu and click them off, when I resume film, there they are again. Has anyone had this problem too?

Have you tried choosing "Open DVD Disk on Hard Disk Drive "?

It's an option on the button to the right of the + - and speaker icon, below the question mark on the picture from spinner 886.

    I've never had this problem.

Also have you checked the Configuration ? Ctrl - C

  5. actually Spinners post helped me fix my problem. I was trying to turn off the subtitles from the disc menu and it wouldnt take. I tried like 5 difft movies with no success, I couldnt get them off. Turning them off using PowerDVDs feature did the trick.
