Here in Europe I have to look for something called "12 Hour - 24 Hour" Clock in the menus of the stuff I buy here. Me being a Yank....that was a new one on me. I knew of military time but never saw it described in that way....might help.

To get the TV guide to stop coming on -- while on the 'TV Guide' screen use your up button to go to the top of the TV Guide screen. Press right to navigate through the options until you get to the 'Setup' option. Then navigate down to 'review options', press enter, and choose 'Off".

I checked the manual online in .pdf format and found nothing on how to ensure that the time is NOT displayed in military time.
Have you tried e-mailing Panasonic...or maybe even call a local Panasonic service center?

Pink Pryncess, my E85 doesn't display in military time in direct navigation so I'm baffled. Mine displays regular time. I'd call Panasonic.
