Ok, I admit I have posted this before, but I never understood the answer.

I have some DVD's I authored with AC-3 audio and MPEG2 video. OK, no problem. Now, as my skills and knowledge have increased, I would like to re-author with new menus.

    BUT...

I am using DVD Architect which will not recognize the AC-3 encoded audio in my VIDEO_TS folders that I have ripped with DVD Decrypter.

    Question -

I have video on the timeline, but no audio because it wont recoginze it. Is there an easy way to convert it back to a wave? BeSweet has never worked out for me. I have SoundForge 7, but it wont recognize the AC-3 either.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. There must be somthing wrong with the AC3 file, DVD Architect should take it no problem, I think there is a tool to fix it, in the tool section.

  5. One the face of it, AC3 should not have given any problem unless it is corrupted. You can use HeadAC3he, River Past Audio Converter to convert AC3 to wav. They work fine for me.
