  1. I am about to try and print my first DVD with my epson. I have the epson cd software. I am confused as to how to enter the dimensions for this disc. I would be greatful for any help at all.

My husband measured the small inner circle and the large total circle, and we came up with 33 and 117.

  2. These discs aren't inkjet printable, are they?? All the ones I've gotten are 'White Thermal Printable', although I admit I know next to nothing about the different types of disc surfaces, they all accept my Sharpie.

  3. When I bought them they said Inkjet printable. I hope so.

  4. Are they an all white surface with a small white star in the center, by chance? If not, what do they look like? All the ones I bought were the 2x rated ones on Shop4tech, although in reality they are 4x discs.

  5. Yes they are. I just printed one and it did not seem to do very well. Very grainy. Maybe the aen't inkjets at all.

  6. Nope, they're for thermal printers.

I doubt you'll get the disc surface to absorb the ink at all, it'll probably smear very easily. It may not exactly be good for your printer to try more of these discs, also. Too bad, they're pretty good cheap discs otherwise.

Unfortunately I think you'll end up paying about double what these cost to get any kind of inkjet printable discs. There's plenty of threads on different kinds of inkjet discs on here, although I know Prodisc, Ritek, and Taiyo Yuden are three brands that seem to come up often with inkjet printable discs.
