WinFast TV 2000 XP- (Can't capture NTSC)

Hi,

I just bought this capture card. I've been able to capture PAL VHS, but when I try to playback/capture ntsc VHS, I get a bad/distorted picture.
I tried configuring it for ntsc, but when I go into capture profile setting, it doesn't allow me to change anything.
I've emailed Leadtek also.

Any feedback is appreciated.

When I play the NTSC VHS, I still get full colour, but when I set the video standard on winfast to ntsc, the picture goes black and white but is complete.

I may be mistaken, but I think there are two versions of this card. One for pal the other for ntsc capture. I have one, but it has been awhile since I looked under the hood.

I'm in Australia which PAL is standard. Maybe that explains it, but the program allows you to set PAL/NTSC.

My VHS Player supports both Pal/NTSC.

(The top 3/4 of the video plays ok, but the bottom 1/4 has a line than repeats the very top of the picture)

I think that your VCR is using PAL60 when playing NTSC tapes.
