    There isn't anything about how the files are stored. Probably that means the video data are still stored as 24-bit color depth.

    But I am not saying that use higher resolution D/A and/or A/D is useless. I am only trying to say unless we remove the bottleneck (24-bit color depth), the improvement will be marginal only.
