Removing permanent text

Does anyone know if you can remove, erase, or mark over permanent text that shows on ever frame of an entire movie. Example: The "TMD-Moviez xxxxxxxxxxxx" text that is displayed on all of there movies?

TMD just re-encode other releases, so to remove the text, just grab the original release rather than some crappy half framerate re-encode.

Best way to remove it, would be to purchase a legit copy, and simply back it up. MUCH better quality too.

And if you do already own it, but for some reason are unable to back it up.... TMD is horrible, horrible stuff. Crappy as they come, IMO.

All warez issues aside, you could possibly try some logo removal filters in virtualdub such as logoaway and the like but I've found that their effectiveness (or lack thereof) isn't really worth the effort, as you often end up with a pixelated mess. The other option would be to crop the bottom 50 or 100 pixels (however many it takes). Add to this the fact that TMD movies are generally ordinary in standard to begin with anyway, I'd have to concur with the rest of the punters and say "Buy the DVD".

Thanx jimmalenko and reboot for a reply that was useful. For those "Hollier Than Thy" persons who posted the warez comments, If you are such law abidding citizens, who wouldn't dare think of downloading or even watch an illegal copy of a movie, Then how would you know if TMD is crappy

I think one of the bee'f is alot of people here are professional or semi-professional. There was post I remeber where a mod actually found a movie he worked on being offered for DL. On the other hand I don't agree with the outrageous prices they charge for a movie, but that's there right. It's also my right not purchase it which I exercise to the fullest. I don't own a single commercial DVD nor do I have any illegal ones... More people have to do what I do and there wouldn't be a need to DL them as they would be dirt cheap.

If I've never seen, smelled, or tasted cake before, how can I tell someone how a cake looks, smells, or tastes? For all those that are getting freaked out by Judge Jerko's remarks about downloaded movies are piracy, there are tons of pay sites that offer legal downloadable avi's that have a permenant logo being displayed during the entire movie or clip as an advertising ploy.

If the truth be known, video is video. There’s different formats, but at the end of the day, there is a video stream and an audio stream. That’s all we’re concerned with here. Basically, a GSpot or AVICodec screen dump contains almost all the information we need in one hit. We don’t need to know filenames If you’re posting a GSpot image, use Windows Paint where appropriate …or better yet, rename the file. It’s really not that hard, yet so many people seem to disregard a number of Baldrick’s directives, which are aimed at protecting himself (and to a lesser extent, all of us) should shit hit the fan.

Sorry jimmalenko, you're absolutely correct. Its just that I get so sick and tired of people prejudging others when they speak of downloads. I download tons of legal avi's; and for someone to ignorantly assume that I'm talking about something illegal pisses me off
