Hi there. I have progressive out of sync issues capturing AV through my brand spanking new pctv stereo card. Basically, according to virtualdub, the sync is fine for 10 secs, then the video starts to get in front by about 1-2ms/sec. After about 5 mins capture, this has increased to about 10-15ms/sec, leaving the sync out by about 3 secs after 5 mins. Have tried using Studio 9, then VirtualDub with the same results. Either capturing via coax with audio through the mobo aux, or via composite with the audio via the line in. PCTV Stereo CD is v5.9.
General specs are:
Gigabyte GA-7n400Pro2 Rev.1 (Latest Bios and drivers)
Athlon XP2500+ (Barton at stock speed)
1gb (2 x 512) DDR400 (at 333MHz), timings are 6,3,3,3, dual-channelled
Sparkle GF5600XT 128mb (latest drivers)
Main drive - 80gb Seagate ATA133, 7200RPM, 2mb Cache,
Capture drive - 200GB Maxtor D'Max10 SATA, 7200RPM
Win XP Pro, SP2 fully patched,
Modem,
PCTV Stereo.
Had thought of trying the BTWinCap Drivers, but read some places that they were not for my card, others recommended I use them. Should I?
What else can I do?
