  1. I just finished my first .avi converstion using the autofit feature. Without it, it would have been huge -- 5-6 gig. However, it didn't quite squeeze it enough, as the end result was 4.54 gig. (4,834,xxx,xxx vs the standard 4,700,xxx,xxx that fits on a disk.) I had used the two pass feature, so I don't know if that made a difference.

    I tried numerous programs to burn, but none would allow me to overburn, so I had to run it thru dvd2one to shrink that last 130 meg or so.

  2. This is a good question...It's kinda resource consuming to convert 2 700mb avi files to a 4464mb DVD, that would normally take up 1.5-2gb in SVCD mode in RC2. Don't get me wrong, autofits cool, but bring back the SVCD conversion option, please.

    Maybe our settings were different. Can you send me your log?
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
