I just finished my first .avi converstion using the autofit feature. Without it, it would have been huge -- 5-6 gig. However, it didn't quite squeeze it enough, as the end result was 4.54 gig. (4,834,xxx,xxx vs the standard 4,700,xxx,xxx that fits on a disk.) I had used the two pass feature, so I don't know if that made a difference.
I tried numerous programs to burn, but none would allow me to overburn, so I had to run it thru dvd2one to shrink that last 130 meg or so.
Thanks,

This is a good question...It's kinda resource consuming to convert 2 700mb avi files to a 4464mb DVD, that would normally take up 1.5-2gb in SVCD mode in RC2. Don't get me wrong, autofits cool, but bring back the SVCD conversion option, please.
