I have made a series of short films using adobe premiere and exported them as avi files, when played on my (or anyone elses) computer they look great and work correctly, including a 5 second title at the beginning of each short film. However, when I import them into encore to put onto dvd, the title only stays on the screen for 1 second (if that). The screen then goes blank for the remainder of the 5 seconds that is supposed to be title.
I have completed a menu for the dvd which looks great and I have enjoyed using encore thus far, but this titling problem is a frustrating one and makes the authoring of the dvd near pointless, any help would be very much appreciated.
I have made films before and authored them on dvd with titles with no problems, this is my first experience making a detailed menu and thus my first experience using encore.

Export from Adobe Premiere as MPEG2-DVD files(m2v and wav files) in "Adobe Media Encoder" option,
and it will be fine in Encore.
