I am looking for a program which can separate the sound/music from a movie (DVD) and save them as two different things.
Is there one? Thanks in advance

You mean to get video as one file, audio as another? If so, it's called demultiplexing, and is done with for instance ReJig, DVDDecrypter, VobEdit - there are lots of tools for this.

Thats easy! Use smartripper and tell it to demux! you then get all seperate file for video sound subs etc..
