    Is there one around?, I've been recommended onto this piece of software but as it is quite a bit different to what I'm using right now ( TMPG ) I could do with a start.....

    Click on "All Guides" on the left (under "How To"), and choose "Vegas 5" (if that's the right one) from the list of tools...

    I learned it from the manual. It's pretty easy to follow. Free download from Sony.
