menu with audio

just when i was getting used to my first dvd authoring program; tmpgenc dvd author, i find out it doesnt support audio for the menus! the menus are good enough, i dont need animation or chapters or other advanced stuff. i just need one audio track playing on the main menu.

what program is recommended that is as easy at tmpgenc dvd author?

I don't use TMPGEnc DVD Author , but I know it supports motion menus -and therefore audio on a menu.

Have a look at this guide, it looks like you can select a still as the background (instead of video), and then add the audio.

You have to make the audio wav if you want it in the bg menu.
