I have an *.avi file that has VBR MP3 audio and I need it to be CRB so I decompressed the audio to an uncompressed WAV file and then encoded it to a CBR MP3 file using Lame.
My question is this, what program will take my new MP3 file and replace the old one in the *.avi file?
Thanks,
John

Virtualdubmod. Open your AVI. Go to streams > stream list, and select the existing audio stream the click the disable button. Then click the Add button and select your new audio file. Right-click on this new audio file and confirm that it is set to Direct Stream Copy. OK your way out, then go to Video > Direct Stream Copy, Then go to File > Save as ... and save out to a new AVI file.
If in doubt, Google it. -
Thankyou, it worked like a charm. I didn't even know VDubMod existed, I only knew of VDub.
Thanks again,
John
