  1. I downloaded something in rar format, to find one of the files is missing, and I can't find any pars for it. Is there any way of still burning what I have, and just missing out the file I don't have?

    Thanks

No. No way I have ever found, AFAIK, you need them all. Too bad there are no Par files. Just keep looking for the missing rar.

  4. Sorry Baldrick.

Ok, would it be possible then to rename every rar file I have to vob, and then use a program to put them all into a menu system so they play in sequence? Is there a program that can do that? I realise that I would have a certain amount of video missing because of the missing rar file, but I can live with that. If I can open the renamed files with Powerdvd, which I can, then I should somehow be able to do this?

    But I could be wrong...

NO. rar files are like zip files, they can contain anything. Theye are an archive format and in no way related to vobs. When 'unrared' you may get some vob files etc but thats as far as it goes. If you are missing a rar, you are SOL
