  1. is there a program or something that i can use to modify movies, like if i want to cut stuff out or something like that. ....also can it be used for mpeg or avi? my second question is , is there a way to fix the brightness in tmpegnc, like where exactly i can go to fix this. sometimes my movies come out too bright........

    As far as the brightness in TMPGENC sorry not sure where to fix that.....

    IN TMPG 2xx on the Mpeg settings window choose "SIMPLE COLOR CORRECTION" from the White box... tthe window area listing all the available filters. Make sure you've put a checkmark in this field, then double click the same field and the "BRIGHTNESS" is the first slider you'll encounter in the 'simple color correction' window that the list turns into when you double click it.
