hi all.
ive purchased the Verbatim DVD-R Printables 50 Pack and the packaging states that it used the AZO Advanced Dye, with Datalife PLus.
I just did a media info scan to check the fye and it states that the dye is MCC. shouldnt it tell me the dye is AZO?
thanks
VJ

Don't worry about it. If the media code is MCC, then the discs are using AZO dye.

thanks for the reply mate, thanks for putting my mind at ease.
i was expecting the media ID to say AZO instead of MCC (Mitsubishi Chemicals).
also im guessing Super AZO means the same thing then? i have some Verbatim CD-R media which state that their using Super AZO, also stating a guaranteed 100year archival life on the packaging...awsome!!
thanks again

AZO is a metallic chemical in the dye.
