    I have a video capture card that uses the bt848 chip. no video shows up when using virtual dub. it sees the driver but i get no video. any thoughts.

    make sure you have the appropriate setting (tuner or composite) selected under video->source

    What OS? My Terratec value card works in Windows 98 with VirtualDub but I can't get the picture in WinXP (WDM drivers). It didn't work in win2000 either, the only way I can capture in winxp/2000 is to use the cardmakers own software, which sucks (mono audio, no way to capture over 2 Gb etc.)
