Hi,
I'm capturing analogue video through an external USB2.0 capture device. In the software than came with it (USB2.0 DVR) I can select audio input. I have selected "line-in". The audio sounds fine when it is recording, but when I play back the file in media player the audio is very crackly, and seems to "peak out" all the time. I've tried recording thruogh the microphone input as well and get the same results. Any adice? Thanks

Open up your sound configuration for your soundcard. Make sure the record volume is jacked all the way up.
