I have an avi that is too large to burn on a cd-r. After splitting, the Audio and video are out of sync on both parts. I have used virtualdub and avi splitter and the results are the same. What am I doing wrong?

I found a fix myself. I reencoded the file with DrDivx and now when I split it, the audio is in sync.

Prolly VBR audio. Usually creates problems of this kind. Demux audio, reencode to CBR, remux, cut.
