Making fun of the name of Tim Horton is not funny. It is exceedingly disrespectful and totally uncalled for, but perhaps such matters as RESPECT FOR THE DEAD are lost on some Americans such as yourself.

I didn't even know he was dead. We don't have Tim Horton restaurants in the states that I'm aware of.

I was relaying what I heard. I didn't even mention the man who founded the chain.

    Chill out, mister Jie.

I don't believe anybody was making fun of the name. They were making fun of Capmaster because he couldn't get the name right.

    Ignorance is no excuse.

First, he passed away Feb. 21, 1974 in a tragic car accident while a member of the Buffalo Sabres.

Second, there are, according to the Tim Horton's web site, restaurants in nine states: Michigan, New York, Ohio, Kentucky, Maine, West Virginia, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

Well that's sad news. What it has to do with what I posted remains a mystery. And why I should go light a candle at the church before I ever mention his restaurant chain also escapes me
