  1. When using Tmpg's DVD author 1.6 I'm having a strange problem. I select the mpeg2 files I want to convert. I'm using one track and putting 2 clips in that track. It accepts the files with no problems when I open them. I then make the menu for the DVD. But when I click "begin output" the program just vanishes from my screen. No error message, nothing. Then I'm left with and empty Audio_TS and Video_TS folder in the place where I chose to save the output. Any idea why?

Maybe it's lazy? Have you tried reinstalling it?

  3. No it's not lazy, thanks for taking the problem seriously, and reinstallation does nothing. Does anyone with knowledge have any actual technical help?

does it quit with all mpeg2 files? tried just one mpeg2 file or other mpeg2 files? how did you create mpeg2 files?

  5. It does it with Mpeg2 files and Mpeg1 files as well. So far, whatever I use in it, it crashes when I try the "begin output" phase of the process. Tmpg 2.5 was used to create the mpegs, they were converted from avi's. Again, no error messages or anything. Program just disappears.
