I installed Flight Simulator 2004 and found there were bad fragments on it so i defragged and it cleared the bad fragments.
This wouldn't have corrupted the files would it??
Is it true that if i have a hard drive i partitioned. With one section free i copied a load of stuff to and it found no bad fragments. is this because nothing was downloaded to it??
Can bad fragments only occur when you download stuff to it or install stuff on it??
cheers

Just about every program has intentional errors in it to discourage copying.
You are making too much out of the fragment thing.
