Is it usual to forbid back-to-back timer recording of two programs?
I was having a bit of trouble with my LVW5045 https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1189672#1189672 and sent a detailed reproduction recipe to LiteON technical support. In one of the steps in the reproduction recipe I wrote:
The support responded with this, which I found ridiculous:Set a timer recording program to HDD starting at 23:15 and ending at 23:20. Set another one starting at 23:20 and ending at 23:25.
Is the support person clueless, or is this the way many DVD/HDD recorders operate and I am expecting too much? Even my old VCR allowed me to record two programs back to back.you can not have to two timer recording at the same time (23:20). You will need to keep at least 1 minute difference between them. You will need to end your first recording at 23:19 and start the next one at 23:20.

That's just silly. Setting one program's end time to be the same as another's start time is universal.
