    hi
    could anybody tell me what's the best codecs & programs are?
    espesially with high quality video & audio(ac3)
    no matter all in one or separate.
    if you know a written guide or post apart from your oppinion please
    let me know.

    IMO the best program depends on your source. I like AutoGK for DVD sources, but for everything else Virtualdubmod is my tool of choice.
