It'll never be rock solid performance.
That's why I said "no" ... for the record.

Something will always be in need of tweaking.
    It will be a pain.

You may have a greater chance of success if you capture to avi using something like Huffyuv and then encode to SVCD compliant mpeg afterwards. It will take forever with a 750 Duron, but you'll stand a better chance of getting a decent capture.

  6. Card installed today using loardsmurf's hacks (it works now with mmc 8.7) and worked WONDERFUL in my Duron 750 Mhz, no frames dropped, perfect encoding with SVCD format and VCD format

The only problem is taht it won't capture still images...but it isn't a problem

    I'm really satisfied.

    really a great card !!!

FWIW I strongly suggest that you make a backup image of your c drive esp. if you're running 98 to capture with. The image I made has been reinstalled MANY times.
    Good Luck!

Capture video. Use PowerDVD or VirtualDub to grab frame images. Or go look in the NEWS forum, and use that new thing BJ_M posted about.
