  1. Hi guys a little help here lately when im trying to unzip some winrar files i get this (write error only ntfs file sys. supports files larger then 4 gb.) they are 58 rar files when its done it should give me a img. file but this is what keeps comeing up when it get allmost done this is not the 1st time it has happen to me can some one help thanks BASSPRO

    Yes, you are on a FAT32 (Windows 9x/me) file system, and are trying to unpack a DVD image?

    Do you have enough free disk space on your hard drive?

  5. Yes just set a new 170gb hard drive up it must have something to do with with my setting some were

  6. Check if this new drive is set to ntfs or fat32 file system.

  7. can i change it if it is not set to ntfs with out formatting my drive

    To bad your profile is BLANK. Hard to help someone with NO information.
    Goto MyComputer, right click on the 170GB drive, select Properties, Post the TYPE and FILE SYSTEM shown.
    Again, goto MY Computer(right click), select Properties, post the information in the General Tab.
    Then we'll know what to do.

  9. Sorry jameshgross im at work now but when i get home i will take care of that i here from some one here were i work i need to change my drive from fat32 to ntfs i have to go into to my readme in my xp windows and find out just how to do that thanks again

    Yes. There's an "upgrade" utility that converts FAT32 to NTFS. Look in accessories system tools
