Ok, this post is for a friend, not for me.
He has a DVR-105; uses Ulead DVD Workshop and has had no problems making DVDs. He usually burns at "Max".
He just got some Verbatim DVD-R 8X inkjet printable disks.
They burn OK, and play OK in his pc, (and my Mac), but won't playback in his DVD Recorder, DVD Player or Xbox.
Disks where burnt at "Max" and at 4X.
We updated the firmware for his 105 to the latest available on the Pioneer site, but got the same results.
Is this a case of the new 8X disks not liking his DVR-105?
Any thoughts?
