Can you use iDVD to put a nice menu on a compilation of 16:9 mpeg2 clips?
Last year, I put together a compilation disk of my favourite animated bits. They are all 16:9 mpeg2 clips. I used sizzle to assemble it, but lovely as that program is, the buttons don't work very well at all and it is a nightmare to navigate the disk.
So, if I bought iLife 05, could I used iDVD to assemble the clips without re-encoding? It has such delicious looking menus.....
Any insights?

iDVD does not accept MPEG files, you would have to convert them to DV format first.
