I am trying to prepare a DVD of TV show I own for watching on my new Treo 650 and when I get the entire disc VIDEO TS folder down to my drive, and open it using ffmpeg; it only "sees" the first episode. Since the VOBs don't split neatly between episodes, how do I select the other 3 episodes for compression? I can't figure out how to select or otherwise guide ffmpeg to the right area of the folder.
I have hunted around the forums and can't find anything on it; so I apologize if this has been answered before.
Thanks in advance.

Major:
I am trying to down sample a DVD that I own to watch on my new phone -- I can do normal output just fine (and your instructions on altering the title to get different episodes did the trick), but now I am seeing an odd message in the log, no matter what settings I set (e.g. which codec).
I didn't change anything like directory permissions so I am not sure why it is not able to open the output file... Any suggestions on what I did or what changed?
Here is the log:

I assume your output volume is a writable media. Are you running ffmpegX from an admin account, and does it work if you save in a different disk/location?

I am real confused here
I am having a similar story with a personal video player I have, (Mediagate MG-25). I ripped the whole DVD and I have all of the VOB files, and I transferred them to my player.....but now it will only play VTS_01_1, and not 02, 03, etc....how did you go about repairing this issue so that you would select ANY of the vob files. Id rather not continuously watch the first episode
Thank you SO much in advance

let me add to this. one thing I tried to do, was select one of the 4 vob files and renamed it to an mpg, it starts to play in the middle of an episode?!?! there are 4 eps on a disc, 4 major vob files = 1gb each I assumed each was an episode, but I guess I assumed wrong...how would I go about getting to watch a specific episode in this same manner we have been discussing above?

If you want to get the episode then use something that can put the VIDEO_TS folder into a .img or .toast file (Volume image). I have Toast so i put the VIDEO_TS folder i ripped into it, and then save the image, then open the image, and 're-rip' the specific title for the episode (which i find out by playing DVD player) in MacTheRipper. Afterwards I rename the individual .vob files and que up a conversion for over-night. Done it with BlackAdder (4 seasons), Alias (2 seasons), and The O.C. (Season 1), and going to do Ally McBeal soon.

i am confused about one thing. First I am going to put the video_Ts folder into an img file or something (can I make it an iso?). Then how do I play the img file? on PowerDVD or the like? Then once I have that playing I will find the titles? Ok if I find the title I need is say title 1...how do I extract just title one, because when I use an iso extractor or something it still comes out as that original video_ts. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks in advance
