    Hi, I'm thinking of getting Premiere, but need to know if it can edit mpegs.

    If so, is it a pluggin, or something?

    No but Media Studio Pro will edit mpeg's and only reencode the parts you have changed (e.g. transitions)

    Edit: BTW by no I meant I don't know if Premier does that.
