  1. I am using TMPGEnc (with the quicktime plugin) to convert a quicktime movie to svcd, and i am encountering a problem i have not seen before while converting quicktime to mpeg.

it gets to about 35%, and just kinda crashes. it gets stuck on that one frame and does not go to the next.

From what i can tell, the movie's file format is as follows:
    Video: MPEG-4 Video, 500 x 438, 12.5fps
    Audio: MPEG Layer-3, Stereo, 44.1kHz
    Length: 6min 36sec

Any ideas? perhaps another program that can convert mov to mpeg? maybe some option quicktime offers? any ideas would be appreciated. thanks....

I know Canopus Procoder can do it, but it sounds like your source file has errors.
