  1. I have a boy that just turned 2 years old last week. I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of software or games are targeted for that age range. I haven't introduced him to a computer just yet although he has seen me use one. I have an old HP 500 mhz Celeron comp with limited ram (192) that is running XP so ram and cpu speed specs for the software may be an issue.

I just want something that he can interact with but isn't all that advanced just yet. Anyone know of anything?

It took my nephew until he was about 3 or 4 until the comp would hold his attention for more than few seconds, his favorite was paint. There's really not much out there for kids that young. They all seem to love paint though. Very easy to use for a youngin.

  3. Jumpstart Baby is a good one. My son liked it when he was around 2. He then enjoyed Sesame Street Toddler when he was 3 and 4, along with the Arthur series of computer games. He is 5 now and boots up his own pc and can play any of the 15 or so games I have loaded on them without much assistance at all. Just make sure that you create some system restore points before he uses it or use go-back just to be safe.
