Bah! I'm angry. Its the 2nd best show on TV and no new episodes for 2 weeks.

1st best is the new Battlestar Galatica of course.

  2. Now you can watch American Idol

The Auditions are more entertaining than the competition itself - reminds me of The Gong Show

The really bad auditions on American Idol are setups.

They have to do at least three other auditions before they get to audition for Simon and them.

The bad auditions are still funny, but it is a setup. The producers filter out the mediocre auditions and only let people audition for Simonc that are good or horrible.

The bad auditions are the best part of the show though. Well the only good part of the show.

I do not and will not watch reality TV shows. I will not support them as they are crappy, stupid, and just cheap programming for the network.

I really have gotten into LOST. There was some poll online that asked what you thought was really going on on the island. Most people said they think everyone is already dead and they are really in limbo(is that what it's called?). Interesting theory but I don't think that's the case. I think that maybe they are stuck in some kind of Bermuda Triangle effect. Guess I'll just have to wait to find out. :P

There is going to be a re-run of the same episode of 'Desperate Housewives' and 'Lost' as one of each this week.

This is due to huge demand and popularity of these debut TV shows here in Sydney as never before attracted so many viewers.

I believe it is record here.

Even a 3rd re-run is talked about on 'Desperate Housewives' this coming Saturday too.

I don’t watch them myself though as me telling you of the popularity of these shows as enormous.

    The Staircase
    8.30pm - 9.20pm | SBS
    Documentary Premiere (France/English)

This eight-part documentary series follows a criminal case from the very beginning, when the emergency call was made, through to the court case and final verdict. On 9 December 2001 at 2.41am, the rescue squad of the city of Durham, North Carolina, receives an urgent call from a man who has a hard time explaining how his wife has fallen down a flight of stairs. She is bleeding profusely, but is still breathing. When the medical team arrives five minutes later, it's too late - the victim is dead. A few minutes after that the police arrive on the scene and are struck by the amount of blood in which Kathleen Peterson lies at the bottom of a narrow staircase. Her husband has traces of blood on his hands and face. For the inspector in charge of the inquiry, the facts speak for themselves. It is not an accident, but a murder. A week later the husband is arrested. Was this a crime or an accident?

What ever happened to the good old days when networks aired new shows all season long, save xmas? The new season was supposed to start in September and end in March or April before they started reruns for the summer. Maybe Fox screwed that up when they started airing new shows all season long? Then the other nets started doing the same thing, and now there's no longer a formal season.

Maybe I'm wrong, but something has happened to network TV in the past 20 years or so, where they don't have as many new eps each season as they used to. Everything's a repeat, and you have to constantly check the schedule to see if the episode of CSI (or whatever) is new, or just another repeat from last season or last year.

I'm sick and tired of it, though there's nothing I can do about it, of course...

I think they are trapped by robots harvesting their bio-energy.

These robots created are complex simulation that requires a very complex array, a matrix if you will.

    Kevin
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

  17. I saw the 1st episode (of Lost) last night. Talk about a dramatic opening sequence! I had just three small "concerns".

    1) What does the Labrador signify if anything?
    2) Why are some of the cast so stereotyped?
    3) Why have that silly dinosaur/giant gorilla stamping
    around in the jungle?

If it was not for the excellent psychodramatic orange peel sequence I would not be looking forward to next weeks episode. I hope that this is not a case of "all that glitters". Lost has hooked me for now.

Yeah Lost is the best thing on primetime.

I mostly just watch Adultswim or DVD's.

    Primetime sucks ass.

Well I still like the Simpsons and I think New Family Guy is coming.

Has anybody watched the Clerks Cartoon's DVD with the commentary on. Like half of the commentary is them shitting on Family Guy.

But family guy is good and the clerks cartoon was much to watered down for most Kevin Smith Fans and not mainstream enough to get mainstream fans. I think it only would have worked on cable, but definately not ABC.

    1) nothing really, its just the kids dog.
    2) *shrugs* I like the characters, each episode digs deeper into each characters past.
    3) to know these things would ruin the show. your suppose to wonder WTF is going on.

I did not say I did not like them. Overall I enjoyed
Lost. It has its flaws but with TV as it is these days
I'm just happy they bother to produce something
    like Lost.

We don't need another cops, doctor or
crime scene show! No more lawyer shows either.
Oh... and NO more reality shows please! Thank U

I'll be watching all three re-runs tonight as I missed them all this week.

'Starstruck' on NINE at 6.30pm, a 2nd time.

'Lost' on SEVEN at 8.30pm, a 2nd time.

'Desperate Housewives' on SEVEN at 9.40pm, the 3rd time.

All these will be on Sydney TV Saturday night and I even may record them for later too.
