  1. Hi there,I got a DVD burner two days ago and I'm trying to burn a dvd.I'm using CD Creator 6-DVD builder. What I don't like in this program is when I try to burn something the program encodes the file. And this process takes for ever.A 2 hour movie encodes like 8 hours. Can any1 recommend me a good freeware program that can encode a winamp file to dvd, becasue all the movie files I have are in this format.I want to speed this porocess up.I tried Tmpeg but I need a cd key which i don't have.Maybe this program would work but I don't have the full version. Please help me out no this one.And 1 more thing a movie I try to burn is 1h and 45m and I'm not able to burn it on a DVD-r 4.7gb which is capable to have a file up to 120m's so what might be the problem?please help thank you in advance to those who'll hel me out on this one.

TMPGEnc had a 30 day fully functional free trial last time I checked ...
    If in doubt, Google it.

  4. Thx for the replies.Maybe I didn't make my self clear, but the movie files I want to burn are read as a winamp file. When I clicl on the files to see the properties that's what it says a winamp file.I tried the TMPEG but when I try to convert it I get a message that the 30day trial has expired and that the version is limited on the MPeg2 and in future try the TMPEG Plus.So what next ?

Pull out your credit card and purchase your software, maybe? If you want to play you've got to pay! Nothing good in life is free. Programmers have to pay bills too. What is the file extension of the file please? Maybe thats a start and please don't tell me WINAMP.

  7. ok guys I found a way to get the software .The problem is that the converter TMPGE plus coverts the movie in the same time as the Cd Creator DVD builder.A movie which is 1h20m to convert it I have to wait 6h!!!! darn is there a faster way?And one more thing guys. What can I do to burn the movie that is 1h45m long, but when I try to burn it the movie is too big for a regular dvdr 4.7gb?

    ... not to mention:

the video quality is a lot better (not some cinema camera job)
the audio quality is a lot better
you get extras and deleted scenes
Your PC is not at the mercy of a P2P program
    If in doubt, Google it.
