does anyone know any good guides, i've been following some by doom and others for vcd/svcd to dvd. But it dosn't mention anything about converting the ntsc to pal in it.

i've being used vcdgear to convert the .dat to .mpg, the tmpgenc tools arn't working for demux the streams, i've found some dos based tool to do it instead

when i use tmpgenc 2.5 and express they crash near the end when i turn the ntsc vcd to a pal vcd.

there's a few missing frames at the end but i've cut it out of the audio so i shouldn't notice it.

when i restream the m1v file with mp2 file it always says 60 odd frames buffer underflow might not play right.

i used besweet gui to convert mp2 file to wav, than wav ntsc to wav pal, and finally wav pal to mp2 for remuxing again

after all this the audio is still out of sync, dont think tmpgenc has converted ntsc to pal right.

i was going to get a final mpg cd1 and cd2 pal version, join em and then do a pal vcd to pal dvd in tmpgenc, but i havn't got pass the vcd stage yet.

Why not try and author the VCD mpgs like they are after extraction? (Use TMPGEnc DVD Author.) PAL players/TV are pretty tolerant with NTSC material. And don't join. Let TDA do that part of the job when authoring. (Just add them as 2 parts of the same title, remove chapter point at "joint").
